Nail Polishes are a must have in my stash, I have my nails painted most of the time and sometimes I re-re-re paint when I’m a little too crazy about some color. Recently I have tried nail polishes from various brands high end to drugstore, thanks to my mom who got them for us *Me + my nasty little sisters*, well actually thanks to my sisters who demanded for a whole new nail polish stack! :D Most of them were really good, however, there are three particular shades that I have been obsessed with! I keep switching back to those shades again and again. Let’s get on to them without any more blabbing!
Flormar PLUS QUARTZ – 079
I didn’t knew this brand even existed before I got this nail polish, I first saw their counters in Lahore and I’m pretty sure I saw one in Karachi too, not sure where though. Anyway, this shade is just amazing, it’s a nude that makes your hands look pretty. My sisters call it skin color and I agree to them. The applicator brush is long, thin and precise, it applies smoothly and covers the inside corners of my nails without any troubles. The formula is fairly good too, it is quite opaque and natural looking in just one coat and the color stands out if the coat is doubled or tripled. It does start chipping off in 2-3 days and that is really a decent staying time for me cuz my nails chip very easilyyyy. It takes longer to dry though.
OPI Nail Lacquer – Blue My Mind
This color literally blew my mind with it’s finish and color. It’s a gorgeous metallic blue that can lift up my mood easily and surround me with positive vibes lol. The applicator brush is long, a little more wider than the Flormar one and flat, the brush holds alot of product so it doesn’t require alot of dipping in again & again. The formulation is really nice, but the color doesn’t fully show in one coat so it’s not completely opaque. The staying power is great, it stayed on my nails without chipping for 3 days straight. I love that it dries real quick on my nails.
Essie Cosmetics – Russian Roulette
A beautiful true red and who does not like a red nail polish? It’s flattering all the time. The applicator brush is very precise yet very appreciable for the smooth application. The formula is great, it’s opaque in one coat and gives a glossy finish. This one did started wearing off in just 2 days so that didn’t really make me happy but otherwise I really like it. It makes my hand look pretty too!
I am not sure about the prices of any of these cuz my mum got these for me, so I’m not mentioning them over here. Comment below and tell me what nail color are you loving these days! :)
